Robin commenced his show business life as a child actor in the United Kingdom in the 1950's. he appeared in a number of British Films. Robin commenced his show business life as a child actor in the United Kingdom in the 1950's. he appeared in a number of films with the likes of Robert Newton, Kathleen Harrison, Richard Burton and Jean Simmons to name but a few. during the British conscription period, he joined the British Army and became a member of the Royal Artillary Band, playing his favorite instrument the Trumpet. after he was de-mobbed, he continued playing music, and became an act with two other talenated musicians and the become known as the Berkeley squares and later the Beltones. they performed all over Europe to the American Military Camps, Officers Clubs and enlisted men clubs. Later Robin became the Musical Director of EMI Records Studio's in South Africa, where he became known as one of the top Musical Arranger's in South Africra. He also conducted the Johannesburg POPS Orchestra and wrote film music for a number of South African Films, amoung which he obtained a number one hit called "Gina's Theme". Robin now lives in Florida, and continues his work as a top arranger and musical consultant.
